Errands are subject to availability, reasonable travel limits, business hours, and any applicable additional fees.

Make Your Time Work for You

Helping Hands is designed to be flexible. You can combine tasks during the same appointment based on what your household needs.

For example:

Laundry + Meal Prep + Household Reset

or

Grocery Pickup + Laundry + Kitchen Reset

 

We'll work with you to prioritize your requested tasks within your scheduled service time.

 2-Hour Minimum

 

Helping Hands has a 2-hour minimum per scheduled service.

 

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you, so you can use that time for one task or combine several tasks.

 72-Hour Cancellation Policy

 

Helping Hands appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 72 hours before the scheduled appointment without a cancellation fee.

 

Once your appointment is within the 72-hour window, cancellations and rescheduling requests are subject to our applicable cancellation policy and fees.

 

Your reserved service time is considered committed once the appointment enters the 72-hour window.

What Helping Hands Does Not Include

Helping Hands is household assistance—not professional caregiving or skilled services.

We do not provide:

• Childcare or babysitting

• Medical care

• Nursing services

• Personal care

• Bathing or toileting assistance

• Medication administration

• Medical transportation

• Financial management

• Legal services

• Professional tax or accounting services

• Construction

• Electrical work

• Plumbing

• Handyman services

• Heavy lifting or furniture moving

• Biohazard cleanup

• Hazardous-material handling

• Mold remediation

• Pest control

• Hoarding remediation

• Services requiring professional licensing or specialized training

If you're not sure whether we can help with something, just ask!

 

🛍️ Purchases & Errands

When we shop or run errands for you, you are responsible for the cost of items purchased.

This may include:

• Groceries

• Household supplies

• Organization products

• Other approved purchases

Product availability, pricing, store policies, traffic, wait times, and other circumstances outside our control may affect the completion of an errand.

 

🍽️ Meal Preparation

Helping Hands provides basic household meal preparation, not professional catering or medical nutrition services.

Please let us know about food allergies, dietary restrictions, or special instructions before your appointment.

Clients are responsible for providing appropriate ingredients, recipes, containers, and instructions when needed.

 

🐾 Pets

We love helping households with pets, but employee safety comes first.

Clients must disclose pets in the home and secure animals when necessary.

Helping Hands may include simple household pet-related tasks such as:

• Feeding pets

• Refreshing water

• Washing pet dishes

• Cleaning ordinary pet feeding areas

• Restocking pet supplies

 

Helping Hands does not include veterinary care, animal medical care, or professional pet-sitting services.

🏡 Your Home, Your Instructions

Helping Hands is designed around your priorities.

We'll follow the instructions you provide and communicate with you if a requested task is outside our services, requires additional time, or cannot safely be completed.

Some tasks may require you to provide supplies, instructions, recipes, shopping lists, access, or other information needed to complete the task.
